Project Life Album | June 2014

This month:

I finally took the time to turn in my Pennsylvania license for a Texas license. I got a little sentimental while I was waiting and took a photo of my old license. I had to make two trips to the DMV that day because I forgot my car insurance forms, when I got back and was waiting to be called, I couldn't find my old license and thought I might have dropped it when I ran home to get the rest of my paperwork.  It was in my pocket. Oh, how I love the exciting adventures of moving to a new state, they never seem to end.

Project Life Week 41

I got my first Project Life album in the mail! I have wanted to buy an album for months but I've been putting it off due to, you know, unemployment. Philip got it for me last week and I couldn't wait for it to arrive in the mail. When I spotted the giant Amazon box at the bottom of the stairs I ran to get it and open it immediately. In my excitement to tear into the box I sliced the top of my new album. womp. womp. So later in the week I bought a pack of inspirational stickers (haha) and covered up the slash mark. Ta Da!

I got the Seafoam album and I love it. The color looks darker in this photo but it is a beautiful album and makes me love my project life photos even more. I'm a little excited about it to say the least.

Since I got my first project life kit a few weeks ago ( the kraft edition), I decided to make my album cover page.

Every week when I try to take photos of my project life spread, my cat lucy decides it's time to sit on my photos and meow. I love that cat but it drives me a little crazy. :)

Week 35: September 2-8, 2013

This week: I found out that I passed the NBCOT exam! Philip bought us champagne to celebrate and later that night we went to Olivia's goodbye party. On Friday, we had our last picnic in Mellon park and walked around the art's festival there. On Saturday Bethany and I went on a car parts adventure and stopped by the fabric store. Philip and I went out for brunch at Paris 66, on the way home, walked around a park that overlooked Pittsburgh. Sunday afternoon, Rachel and I gave her pup Vito, a doggy makeover. Overall it was a fun week to start off September.
